Kenny Rogers moving to Nicholson

Nicholson's newest resident will also be its most famous.

Singer-songwriter Kenny Rogers is building a house on a secluded 150 acres across Hwy. 335 from Staghorn Plantation Estates.

A story in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution last week quoted Rogers as describing the proposed house and property as "kind of like Disneyland with animals."

Rogers, 69, and his wife, Wanda, and their twin 4-year-old sons live in Buckhead. Rogers has placed their home on the market for $7.95 million.
