Banks County man killed in wreck

A Banks County man was killed early Sunday afternoon in a one-car wreck on Georgia 326 east of Commerce.


The Georgia State Patrol identified the victim as Guytrell Henry Martin, 54.

Martin apparently lost control of his pickup truck, which ran off the road, went down an embankment and struck a tree, ejecting Martin, who was not wearing a seat belt. Martin’s son, a passenger in the vehicle who was wearing a seat belt, was not seriously injured.
