Keep Jackson County Beautiful wants your Christmas tree. The real trees, that is.
The group again offers its Bring One for the Chipper Christmas tree recycling at the following locations from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Jan. 3.
Those who drop a tree off can pick up a seedling for their yard from volunteers.
The locations are:
•Arcade — City Hall
•Commerce — Lanier Tech/Badcock Center.
•Braselton/Hoschton — Towne Center
•Jackson County Transfer Station on County Farm Road
•Jefferson — Civic Center
•Nicholson — City Hall
•Talmo — Fire Station
The trees will be ground into mulch and used in county landscaping projects.
Commerce residents' trees will be turned into mulch whether they take them to a recycling site or put them out at the curb for the city's Public Works Department to pick up, because all yard wastes picked up by the city are ground into mulch, which is given away to residents who come to the old dump at the end of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to pick it up.

Keep Jackson County Beautiful will pick up and recycle Christmas trees left at the Lanier Tech/Badcock Shopping Center site in Commerce or at six other locations throughout the county.
