Did 18 beers contribute to dispute?

According to the report, Adam Blake Dills, 22, of 328 Spring Street, was charged after police were summoned to a 4:30 a.m. domestic dispute.

Upon arrival, Dills was not present, but a 20-year-old white female told officers Dills came home intoxicated, woke her up and began talking about text messages she’d allegedly received from an ex-boyfriend.

The victim told police he grabbed her by both arms, slammed her against the wall, threw her to the floor and held her down, pulled the blinds off the wall, threw things about the house and punched a hole in the wall.

Police found the suspect at his mother’s house, where he admitted to having consumed 18 beers earlier. He allegedly told police his girlfriend was “trying to get back with her ex-boyfriend behind his back.”
