Burglar to victim: read your Bible

A woman who allegedly burglarized a South Broad Street residence left some advice for her victim.

“Read your Bible,” the note said.


The victim, a 50-year-old white female, said her former sister-in-law broke in through the locked back door, removed items and left the note, which also indicated that she “repossessed my stuff.”

The victim said the woman took measuring cups, a juicer, two pillows, bath towels, a foot vibrator, two lighters and a blanket.

Police found no sign of forced entry, but talked to two witnesses who saw the suspect at the back door of the residence.
