DACULA – Florine Wade Tucker, a former resident of Decatur for over 60 years, died Monday, February 16, 2009.
She was a member of the Decatur First Baptist Church and the McClain Sunday School class. Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence “Tuck” Tucker; and a stepson, Buck Tucker.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Carole and Lewis Wells, Dacula; daughter-in-law, Harriet Tucker, Loganville; grandsons and spouse, Larry and Julie Tucker, Roswell, and Dan Tucker, Atlanta; granddaughters and spouses, Debbie and Rick Castellaw, Jefferson, and Denise and Hugh Bailey, Lawrenceville; great-grandchildren, Kimberly Tucker, Eatonton, Chas and Trevor Castellaw and Emily and Tucker Bailey.
Memorial services will be held Friday, February 20, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
