The East Jackson Lady Eagles got its season started Saturday with a loss in the Wing Slingers Tip-Off Tournament at EJCHS. The East Jackson Eagles saw their 2009 football season come to a close Friday night at the hands of the Lovett Lions, who defeated the Eagles 58-0 in Atlanta. The 2009 Commerce football season ended Friday night, as the gridiron Tigers were knocked out of the postseason in the second round of playoffs by Darlington.
