It’s Sunday at 2:42 p.m. as I write, struggling with a daze I hope is mere jet lag.
That’s what a vacation will do.
We celebrated our 40th anniversary with a cruise to Alaska, which was certainly enjoyable, but all good things must come to an end, usually not a good end.
Transitioning from being lazy, over-fed and waited upon hand-and-foot for 10 days four time zones away to resuming an eastern standard time zone schedule and a return to work just a few hours later makes me feel like I need a vacation. Or about 24 hours of sleep.
