A warrant will be taken for a Commerce man following an incident at Commerce Cardiology last week.
According to the Commerce Police Department incident report, a 70-year-old patient “became physical” with a 45-year-old white female office worker over a business arrangement between the man and Dr. Narasimhulu Neelagaru that had nothing to do with the medical practice.
The man refused to leave the building, twice pushed the woman, who handles Dr. Neel’s business matters, and squeezed her arms hard enough to leave marks, according to the incident report.
The woman tried to escort the man out of the office, but he told her he “would take her out” if she did, the report said. When the man was informed that a receptionist was calling police — and he watched her do it — he left the building.
According to the document, a warrant will be taken out on Charlie Keith Leachman, 70, of 1264 Harris Lord Cemetery Road.
