rest of the family members and I feel bad for the officers
that was involed in the shooting along with Fire and EMS
personnel who responded.. It seems there is alot of cruel
people in this world and they dont care for no one except
themselves!! If it was just over a watermelon being dropped
this guy needed to be behind bars before now!! I have seen
and know of a few people in this county who does not need
kids becasue they are bad parents and it seems like the
legal system ( DFACS ) takes up for alot of them and lets
the kids stay in a bad place!! My thoughts and prayers go
out to all involed in this and to the Commerce Community...
To: broken hearted parent... It's not the gun's fault, it's the idiot behind the gun that did this. Obviously he had a history of anger problems. The children probably should have never lived there.
Kinda like your keyboard shouldn't be blamed for your spelling and grammatical errors, you should.
Let's ban all cars because people are getting killed in car accidents! That makes alot of sense? How about, let's educate people to be safe drivers and enforce current laws. Driving is a privilege, owning a firearm is a right!
This simply goes to show just how badly people can treat one another, and just how easily any situation can get out of hand.
My prayers are with the family.
It states that Ginn Funeral Home in Carnesville, Ga (Franklin county)
will have the body of this angel and be in charge of arrangements.
My heart goes out to the family and to all of those that
knew this sweet child.
My heart aches for the little brother that witnessed this terrible tragedy. God brings us all through hell to get us to Heaven.
But what can we think? they are taking God out
of everything, the absent of God we get Hell.
This is just the start of must worse.
READ the BIBLE and wake up people.
I know I need God in my life.

God Bless This Family, May Micheal Rest In Peace.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
Sleep in peace little one!
"Where were the parents?... He was taken from their home due to abuse and placed into a home with deadly abuse"-- Does this sound familiar? Anyone remember reading an article in this very newspaper about another child that died a senseless death not too long ago?
"There needs to be an investigation of the DFACS Department in Jackson County."-- When you find out who exactly to report this to, please let everyone know!
"Overworked, I hated to hear that word, anyone that has a job today is overworked due to the downsizing that has been taking place for years in most companies. Suck it up and put in a good days work"-- I said the very same thing in reply to someone else, here on this website, that was making excuses regarding certain people being "overworked". Everyone is!Overworked & Underpaid! We all are & have been for as long as I can remember...Get over it!! Especially if you use that excuse when you are working a job where you have children's lives in the palms of your hands, that's got to be the sorriest excuse I've ever heard! Someone please let me know if you know of a job where I can get paid what I'm worth for doing minimal, or an average amount of work!
"As for women that continue to live in abusive relationship with their children, that is very distributing. What can we do as a community to help women realize that they don't have to live way?"-- I speak for the city of Commerce & the county of Jackson when I say this.....There is little to, most often, no help for women who call the police for help when they are being abused. Abusive men are extremely slick & most police officers buy their 'stories' & their excuses(For instance- "Officer, my wife is crazy; You can't believe her; See how emotional she's acting? I was just trying to protect her from herself, good officer; Nevermind the fact that I have at least 3 prior domestics on my easily accessible criminal record")...The officers end up buying it(or not buying it, it's that they just don't care)and leave, but not before giving the "crazy" woman a hard time, that is. Jackson Co. DFACS is either on the abuser's side as well, or they try their best, and often succeed, at taking the children away from not only the abusive man, but the victim, the mother too. It only takes one call from the victim to either one of these agencies to learn that they will do her & her children more harm than good. I'm not basing this on one situation I just happen to know of; I'm basing it on many...too many. Just ask around the community, read old archives & commments from this newspaper, etc. to see for yourself. Same old story...everyday! ~~God bless!~~
child who saw his brother die. Cover him with your grace
and peace, show him your love and ease his pain.
In Christ name - Amen.
Problem lies with all concern- NO ONE IS ACCOUNTABLE or HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ANYTHING IN THIS COUNTRY.
People are blaming DFCS but how many of those people are willing to open their home as a foster parent????????
Kids are not first from what I hear.
So, I think that you must be talking about a case in superior court over a custody battle, is that right?
2 Timothy 3:1 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of stress.
2 Timothy 3:2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
2 Timothy 3:3 inhuman, implacable, slanderers, profligates, fierce, haters of good,
2 Timothy 3:4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
2 Timothy 3:5 holding the form of religion but denying the power of it. Avoid such people!
