COMMERCE – Betty Anderson, 71, died Friday, June 12, 2009, at BJC Medical Center surrounded by her family.
She was born in Hall County on February 23, 1938, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wadell Richardson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Anderson; and a daughter, Debbie Anderson.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Mildred Richardson, Gainesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Monica Williams, Hoschton, Kenny Anderson, Commerce, and Doug and Tari Anderson, Lula; grandchildren, Jake and Jarred Williams, Gainesville, Kyle and Tori Anderson, Jefferson, Clay and Shannon Anderson, Jeff and Heather Pearce, and Aaron and Megan Anderson, all of Commerce, Amanda and Nick Smith, Lula; great-grandchildren, Aiden Anderson, Chloe Anderson, Jaxon Pearce, Kane Smith; niece, Cherry and Henry Timms, Gainesville; nephew, Randy and Gail Clark and Chuck Richardson, all of Gainesville.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 15, in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Pastor Junior Jones officiating. Burial was at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Clermont.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
