Robert Clark, 55, was formally charged Thursday with the June 7 murder of his 6-year-old grandson, Michael Levigne.
Clark was released from Atlanta Medical Center to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, which served warrants for murder, aggravated assault on a police officer aggravated assault and cruelty to children. He'd been in the hospital since the incident, recovering from the multiple gunshot wounds he received when police returned fire at the Troy Street, Commerce residence.
