Aree Butler

ILA – Aree Clark Butler, 92, died Monday, June 29, 2009.

Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late James Coleman and Mary Massey Clark. She was retired from Georgia Sportswear and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Frank Butler.

Survivors include a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 1, at 3:30 p.m., at Lord & Stevens Funeral Home with the Rev. Matthew Calvert officiating. Burial will be in Grey Hill Cemetery in Commerce. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, June 30, from 6 to 8 p.m.
