Commerce voters will elect a mayor pro tem, two city councilmen and two school board members Tuesday.
Four of the five positions on the ballot are contested.
All voting will take place at the J. Nolan Spear Jr. Public Safety Complex on South Elm Street between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
The city council candidates include Keith Burchett and Sammy Thomason, mayor pro tem; Archie D. Chaney, Ward 1; Darren Ownesby and Donald Wilson, Ward 2. School board candidates include Arthur Lee Pattman and Cashanna Rucker, District 1; and Robby Barnett and Mary Seabolt, District 2.
Municipal elections will also be held in Nicholson, Jefferson and Arcade at the same time.
Advance voting is under way. As of Monday morning, some 50 votes had been cast in the Commerce election.
