Commerce was ready to play last Friday.
After winning the coin flip, the Tigers elected to receive and returned the kickoff to their own 41.
On the first play from scrimmage, Deon Brock carried the ball on a game-long, 59-yard run to put the Tigers up 7-0.
Towards the end of the second quarter, Brock added his second of three touchdowns and pushed the Tigers up 14-0.
Following a Lakeview fumble at the Lions’ 43-yard line, the Tigers drove to the three, where Brock carried it in. A fumbled snap soured the PAT, but the Tigers would end the half up 20-0.
Josh Streetman scored from 11 yards out with 2:29 left in the corner to extend the lead to 27-0, and six seconds into the fourth quarter quarterback Cody Streetman threw an 11-yard pass to Jon Cash to make it 34-0.
A minute later, Lakeview turned the ball over on a fumble.
Commerce put some fresh jerseys on the field and with 5:42 left in the game ended the scoring as Marquavius Little ran in from two yards.

Commerce put up six touchdowns and controlled the ball for less than 20 minutes.
Lakeview held nine possessions and ran 28:13 off the clock. Both Commerce and Lakeview crossed midfield six times, but the Lions couldn’t produce any points.
Rushing for Commerce was about diversity as the Tigers gained 285 yards on 36 carries from eight players, 120 of them from Brock.
For the season, Brock has averaged 10.5 yards per carry for a total 1,089 yards, including seven 40-plus-yard runs and 15 touchdowns.
Cody Streetman gained 52 yards, Jon Cash picked up 43 yards on seven carries followed by Josh Streetman with 21 yards on four carries. Little rushed for 20 yards followed by Mason Westmoreland with 17 yards.
