A Pendergrass police officer who lives in Commerce told the Commerce Police Department that she is being harassed by investigators hired by attorneys challenging Pendergrass in a lawsuit.
According to the report, Sgt. Rebecca Davis, 29, told police that two cars, both Chevy Impalas, have been driving past her Elizabeth Street house “and she feels she is being harassed.”
“Davis stated that the attorneys that have been hired by the ‘whistleblowers’ against the city of Pendergrass have investigators who have been following city employees around. Davis stated that Nancy and Peter Val Preda are driving a blue Chevy Impala and their son is driving a white Impala. The vehicles resemble police cruisers with dark tinted windows and round lights in the back. She stated the vehicles have been driving past her residence frequently and have been following her. She also stated the city clerk of Pendergrass filed a police report with Pendergrass PD today regarding the same individuals.”
When is Sgt. Davis going to grow up and stop wasting tax dollars? She files suit with one city, years later she sues Pendergrass and now she is wasting tax dollars in Commerce by making those officers get involved in her drama. I bet Rob Russell advised both Sgt. Davis and the city clerk to file reports. That's just his style. " Mike Buffington" Please help the poor people of Pendergrass to shut that place down. Let the Sheriffs Department take over and push those crooks out of there.

Gee...I'm distressed to hear how this upsets her. Why would she, a police officer, be scared of a private investigator? How does she know the names of the people following her? I guess she used her police status to run the tags on those vehicles? Isn't that illegal? I mean the agency investigating her complaint would be authorized to look up those tag numbers...but how can she do that unless she abused her access to GCIC, NCIC and or vehicle registration access? And what was the purpose of printing their names in the paper? Just a reminder of how far reaching police officers abuse of power in Pendergrass is! I'm just sayin'....
