Several members of the Commerce Downtown Development Authority appear to favor letting politicians purchase booths at the June 26 City Lights Festival. The idea was that since the politicians “will be there anyway” to encourage them to rent booth space.
That’s a horrible idea, counter to what the festival is all about.
The Commerce Downtown Development Authority is trying to decide whether to let politicians have booths alongside food and arts/crafts vendors at the June 26 City Lights Festival.

. . . until the mayor, or his son, or the other good old boys runs again, and then it will magically changed back.
