Some friend: 'borrowed' name causes problems

According to the victim, an “ex-friend” had used her (the victim’s) name and date of birth in a traffic stop, resulting in the citations.

It happened that the officer taking the report was the same one who made the traffic stop, and he recognized that the victim was not the person he'd cited.

The incident report indicated that the officer did not press charges against the 25-year-old suspect because she was already in jail and was sentenced to state custody.
