A 10-year-old Commerce boy was taken to Athens Regional Medical Center Thursday night after the bicycle he was riding was hit by a car on Carson Street.
According to the accident report filed by the Commerce Police Department, Jonathan Michael Fox, 275 Orchard Circle, was struck by a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier at the intersection of Carson and Brookwood Avenue near the Commerce Recreation Department. The accident happened at about 5:45 p.m.
