The Commerce City Council says it wants to hear what’s on the minds of its constituents.
And it will give them free homemade ice cream for the privilege.

Based on some of the most recent decisions and actions by a certain department head,one of the things that should be discussed is putting responsible people in as department heads. A senior position being cut from a department in lieu of an unneeded position is ridiculous. Not to mention making it mandatory that your own employees must schedule a meeting with you if they need to talk about something or risk disicplinary actions being taken against you. Plus, altering the status of employees and making staffing changes without consulting the representatives chosen by the citizens to make those decisions. It is time for this department head to away from here before bringing even more descredit upon the department and city. The City of Commerce is rapidly becoming a big joke to everyone in the area because of people like this.

It's not like any department head is so busy that you would have to schedule a meeting with him/her! It sounds like he thinks he is better of his employee or shamed of action he has taken!
