Seven years after the divorce, a local man continues to harass his ex-wife. Now he’ll be offered a chance to tell a judge about it.
A Commerce police officer said he would take out a warrant on the man for harassing phone calls.
The officer was summoned to a Willoughby Homes address where a 26-year-old female explained that her husband, to who she’d been married three years and had two children with, had called threatening to “whip her -ss.”
The woman told the office they’d been divorced seven years, that she had custody of their girls, but he’d been calling repeatedly.
The officer noted that while he was talking to the woman the man called “no less than 15 times.”
