I was passing through Commerce on July 8, 2010 and had the misfortune of needing some repairs to my car. I would like to compliment the good citizens of Commerce that responded to my plight. First, there was O'Reily's Auto Parts store on Hwy 441, they referred me to a Tire store on the other side of Interstate 85 and the Tire Store owner helped me locate someone who could repair my car in the needed time frame, that was 'North 441 Diesel and Automotive'. They completed the repair and I was able to continue my journey without any more problems. I hope this makes the printed edition of your Paper. The People of Commerce displayed the finest of Southern Hospitality, and I extend my thanks...

What the crap are you talking about? He went from O'Reilly, across the interstate to Pritchett Tire, and continued on 441 to 441 Diesel and Automotive where his car was repaired. Seems pretty clear cut to me. Were you looking for exact GPS coordinates or something?

GPS, Road Maps, whatever explains the location. It appears you are another who should not run for political office, my point being: Other than O'Reilly none of these business physical locations are in COMMERCE! In fact, there is NO PART OF THE CITY OF COMMERCE (other than the mail route) THAT RESIDES IN BANKS COUNTY, no matter how much they wish to be. Commerce, (due to the idiocy of Banks County politicians) owes it's existence to Banks County, since your water comes from the same!

Sounds like someone is jealous of Commerce's claim to fame - The Tanger Outlet Malls and its associated shops! Wow. The trivial root of your offense is amazing. Mr. Harris simply meant this as a compliment to our region. I'm sure he appreciates the fine people of Homer and Banks County just as much as their neighbors across the hazily-defined county line.
