The call came in as an armed robbery or a burglary, but police still aren’t quite sure what happened early Sunday morning.
But alcohol was definitely involved.
Officers responding to the scene were told by dispatch that the complainant was walking toward the police station, that he’d said he was at a bar and was pushed through a window. He also mentioned something about jogging, according to the police report.
An officer found the white male victim “nearly unconscious,” vomiting and bleeding profusely from a “massive cut” on his right forearm, the report said.
The victim said he did not know what happened.
After paramedics arrived to care for the man, the officer followed a trail of blood to Miriam’s Personal Touch Salon on Cherry Street. There, according to the incident report, the officer found the front window broken, glass on the outside of the building, and a “large puddle of blood” on the ground.
No charges were filed in the case.
