Habitat for Humanity is expanding its presence with the opening of a Habitat ReStore in Commerce.
The store, operating five days a week, opened quietly last week in the old Bi-Lo Shopping Center on Homer Road, unit 208. It’s in the unit that years ago housed a Revco/CVS Pharmacy.
Habitat Re-Store manager Vince Mercardante shows off some of the merchandise available as the store opens. He’s looking for donations of all kinds of items to get the 8,400-square-foot building fully stocked.

How about just giving the actual street address so I can look it up? As a newbie to the area, I can only guess where the "old Bi-Lo shopping center" is or the old Revco/CVS. On Google maps, Homer Rd could also be 15 or 59 or 441. With no address, no landmarks and no signage, Mr. Mercardante will spend his valuable time answering phone calls from people like me asking for directions.

He didn't list an address, but I'm sure it was an accident. There is a nail salon in the same shopping center where Bi-Lo was. The address for it is, 216 Homer Road, Commerce, GA 30529. Hopefully that will help you. Welcome to the area.

Thank you, Long-time resident. I think that, from where I live, it's on the left going toward downtown Commerce, before the infamous 3-hour traffic light at Hardee's. I'm still exploring ways to get around that one.
