Maysville Festival on tap this weekend

The 43rd annual Maysville Autumn Leaf festival is coming up this weekend, Oct. 1-3, in downtown Maysville.

There will be live entertainment each day, along with craft and food booths, along with games and activities for children.

The parade will be Saturday at 10 a.m.

The Maysville Public Library will hold an author meet-n-greet at the library booth Saturday. A number of regional authors will offer signed copies of their works.

Friday

Noon, Festival opens

5 p.m., Cake walk

7 p.m., Street dance, Athens & Co. and The Gasoline Brothers

8 p.m., Haunted hayride

Saturday

9 a.m., Festival opens

10 a.m., Parade

11 a.m., Opening ceremony

12:30p.m., Commerce School of Dance

1 p.m., Waulka Mountain

2 p.m., Water balloon toss

2:30, Maysville’s Got Talent karaoke contest

3:30, Hula Hoop contest

4 p.m., Maysville’s Got Talent karaoke contest

5 p.m., Cake walk

6 p.m., Smokie J. Jones

7 p.m., Street dance featuring Smoke

8 p.m., Haunted hayride

Sunday

Noon, Festival opens

1 p.m., Registration

2 p.m., Ricky Fitzpatrick

3 p.m., Regeneration

4 p.m., Dalton Gant

5 p.m., Festival closes
