The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23 people during the past week, including the following:
•Dennis Herman Knight, 46, 5940 Fieldstone Court, Clermont, theft by deception.
•Michael Allan Perry, 34, 130 Nowhere Road, Lot 3, Athens, aggravated child molestation, four counts of child molestation and four counts of cruelty to children.
•Paul Michael Tate Jr., 38, 1289 Storey Lane, Jefferson, battery.
•Terrell DeAngalo Berry, 23, 125 Gold Creek Drive, Jefferson, violation of probation.
•Jesse Lamar Haney Jr., 44, 1499 Pocket Road, Braselton, child support arrest orders.
•Christopher Dwayne Johnson, 40, 294 Pinetree Circle, Maysville, violation of probation.
•Christopher Shane Knight, 19, 117 Davis Mill Court, Lawrenceville, aggravated assault, obstruction or hindering of a law enforcement officer, fighting in a public place, battery and two counts of violation of probation.
•Michael James Martin, 52, 462 Spring Street, Commerce, violation of probation.
•Tommy Kenneth Minish Sr., 63, 402 A.C. Smith Road, Commerce, seat belt violation, operating unsafe motor vehicle and violation of Georgia’s’ Controlled Substance Act.
•Donald Leiland Richardson, 51, 7886 Athens Road, Athens, violation of probation.
•Herbert Eugene Bates, 62, 1557 B. Wilson Road, Commerce, two counts of violation of probation.
•Scott Duane Hendricks, 33, 315 Mt. Zion Road, Georgetown, Tenn., failure to appear.
•Teri Ann Owens, 33, 463 Ralph Garrison Road, Jefferson, DUI, failure to maintain lane and endangering child under 14 years of age while DUI.
•Marc Allen Truhn, 39, 6294 Saturn Drive, Flowery Branch, theft by receiving stolen property and violation of Georgia’s Controlled Substance Act.
•Karla Rene Brackins, 41, 1118 The Falls Parkway, Duluth, issuance of bad checks.
•Rodolfo Gonzalez, 23, 290 Garden Ridge, Athens, safety restraint violation, giving false name and information to an officer and driving while unlicensed.
•Jessica Patricia Bowers, 27, 1256 Old Elberton Road, Hull, contempt of superior court.
•William Graham Williams, 53, 348 Harris Lord Cemetery Road, Commerce, violation of probation.
•Robert Bryan Wormley, 47, 505 Woods Drive, Northwest, Atlanta, two counts of violation of probation.
•Marcus Scott Zurita, 20, 10 F Street, Spartanburg, S.C., failure to appear.
•Wilmer Alexander Buruca, 30, 521 Oak Vista Court, Lawrenceville, DUI alcohol, failure to maintain lane and open container.
•Steven Carl Johnson, 53, 3713 Jefferson River Road, Jefferson, possession of arms by convicted felon.
•Brian Keith Wilson, 32, 253 Rattle Trap Road, Commerce, failure to appear.
