It’s time for the choo-choo on the sign in front of the Commerce Public Library to move to the top of the fund-raising hill.
Commerce has surpassed the $583,000 it needed to raise to match the Board of Regents grant for the $2 million expansion of the city library.
Turns out, the sign notwithstanding, the money’s been there for some time.
The fund-raising effort is NOT $66,000 short as the sign in front of the library indicates. Officials say all of the money necessary for the project is in hand or pledged.
Surprise! all funds for library expansion are on hand

i find it hard to believe, this story they are telling...either we have a bunch of dumb people running the show or the politics are crooked. something dont sound right in how these leaders responded to the "media" i say double check every single decision maker in town...i promise you will find lots of dirt and have a stronger community when you do. happy trails
