With all of the local grant match in hand and the state funds finally available, work could begin on the 5,000-square-foot expansion of the Commerce Public Library this spring.
Library director Miguel Vicente reported to the Commerce Library Board Monday night that a meeting of the 10-member building committee is expected in about two weeks, one result of which could be moving closer to a final design.
