Pills and pleasure were apparently followed by a good bit of pain at an Old Maysville Road party last week.
A 34-year-old white female from Winder told officers that she went to the residence to a party Jan. 17 where attendees were “snorting Roxies and Xanies.”
The officer interviewed the woman at BJC Hospital’s emergency room, where he noted she had blood all over her clothes and a swollen eye and nose.
The woman said she spent the night there, but was awakened by “Mark,” who was upset because someone took his pills. The victim said she did not take them, but her assailant and his girlfriend, a white female, were not convinced. The victim said the other woman hit her twice, knocked her to the floor, and “Mark” hit her three times and kicked her in the ribs.
The victim told police that she called her father and asked him to come pick her up, but the other two people told her she could not leave “until you tell the truth” about the missing pills.
However, at about 2:30 p.m., the woman escaped, went to a nearby house and called police.
The police are treating the incident as a case of aggravated assault and kidnapping.
