The use of taser guns in Maysville may be allowed if a request from the police chief is approved by the city council.
Police Chief Clarence Sullens spoke at the Maysville City Council work session Thursday on the use of taser guns for the police department.

It woudl be interesting to seee the exact number of injuries for both officers and offenders in the last decade for the Maysville PD. I don't see an immediate need for tasers just an opportunity for new toys to play with.
