'Beach Party' Friday evening at Spencer Park

Commerce children will be able to experience a “beach party” Friday, July 29, without even leaving the town.

The Commerce Downtown Development Authority will hold its annual beach party from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Spencer Park downtown.

The event will feature a water slide, a bounce room, games and snow cones, and possibly face painting and a clown.

The event is free.

The DDA encourages participants to bring blankets or lawn chairs and a picnic supper.
