Man charged with hitting mother of his miscarried baby

The woman said White went out to his car to get some cigarettes and while he was outside his cell phone rang. The woman answered the phone, and said the caller was a female.

Each of the two inquired as to the name of the other, and the victim said she told the other woman, “I’m his baby mama that just lost his baby last night,” then took the telephone outside to White.

White, she told police, was angry that she had answered the phone and hit her three times in the face and threw her belongings out of the car. The woman said she picked up her belongings, and he came at her again, grabbing her by the hair. She said he broke a beer bottle and told her, “If you’re going to call the police on me, then I’m going to tell them you’re crazy and cut yourself. I’m not going back to jail for you.”
The woman had a cut on her wrist, the report noted.

The victim said White also told her, “I’m leaving. You and your dead-a** baby ain’t worth this (expletive deleted),” after which he walked away.

Another officer located White nearby and noted the smell of alcohol about him, according to the report.
