Twenty people were charged by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office last week, including the following:

•Patricia Garcia, 38, 3622 Windyhill Drive, Gainesville; violation of the Georgia controlled substances act.
•Ginger Lee Steadman, 41, 365 Easey Street, Toccoa; disorderly conduct.
•Michael David Cole, II, 25, 584 White Street, Hoschton; simple battery – family violence act.
•Kyle David Jones, 25, 584 White Street, Hoschton; simple battery – family violence act.
•Joie Dawn Adams, 17, 1559 Archer Grove School, Athens; possession of marijuana less than one ounce, driving without license on person, reckless driving, stop signs and yield signs, safety belts, class D license restrictions.
•Linda Michelle Atkinson, 37, 1026 Oak Grove Road, Athens; disorderly conduct.
•Donald William Gunter, Jr., 45, 372 Broadway Avenue, Braselton; violation of probation.
•Ray Stanley Sutton, 51, 1026 Oak Grove Road, Athens; disorderly conduct.
•Jeffery Steven Bost, 22, 240 Winter Court, Apt 13, Athens; failure to appear.
•Joshua Adonis Finch, 33, 477 West Jefferson Street, Hoschton; battery – family violence act.
•Hendrex Lee Nicely, 22, 288 MLK Drive, Jefferson; violation of parole.
•Nicholas Albert Slayton, 25, 197 Pine Avenue, Commerce; child support arrest orders.
•George William Tyner, 48, 216 Dogwood Avenue, Cornelia; violation of probation.

•William Joseph Knight, 25, 2385 Unity Church Road, Maysville; failure to appear.
