He too was a passenger in a vehicle pulled over on I-85 — for an obscured tag, and the officer noted his nervousness demonstrated by shaking hands, “shoving food into his mouth,” and a pulsing carotid artery. A pat-down turned up a small amount of marijuana in Martin’s pocket.
•Andrea Shinholser Harris, 35, and Johnny Paul Harris, 27, both of 411 Valley Brook Crossing, Decatur, misdemeanor possession of marijuana. They were in a northbound truck pulled over for a cracked windshield. The officer conducted a search of the vehicle and reported finding a bag of marijuana and a glass pipe in the side pocket of a suitcase. Both suspects denied knowledge of the drugs, saying they had borrowed the suitcase from a friend.
•Darryl Davarius Simmons, 36, 667 Magnolia Street NW, Atlanta, misdemeanor possession of marijuana. An officer pulled him over on the southbound lane for an improperly displayed tag. Upon approaching the vehicle, he said he noted the smell of marijuana. Simmons did not deny using marijuana, the report said. Instead, he said he used it for medical purposes and told the officer that a blunt could be found under the floor mat. The officer retrieved the marijuana cigar and found another in a jacket pocket, the report said.

I'm glad that these arests were made, I just wish that more emphasis would be placed on road block at 3am catching drunks.
of course the real figures would mean less tax dollars going to M.A.D.D.
Why do towns set up on the interstate I dont get it, maybe Commerce should start having to pay for resurfacing and maintaince and clean up of the interstate, take over the area from The GSP and Jackson and Banks counties.
