Where's a bathroom when you need one?

The officer reported that when he approached, the woman walked off quickly, ignoring his command that she stop. The officer then approached the man, Steven Robert Murray, 47, of 5349 Brockton Road, Jefferson. The officer asked Murray if he was okay, and he reported that he was having car trouble. The officer noted that he could smell alcohol about Murray’s person. He also noted that Murray had difficulty with his balance, another sign of possible intoxication.

When he asked Murray who the woman was, Murray replied that it was “some girl he knew,” the officer wrote, but claimed not to know her name or address. The report also noted that Murray tested positive for alcohol.

“Mr. Murray then advised he was urinating in his pants,” the officer wrote. At some point, the officer observed that Murray had an empty holster on his belt and asked him where the gun was, to which Murray allegedly replied that he did not have a gun

Then, the officer said, Murray “grabbed his buttocks” and announced, “I’m (defecating) in my pants.”

During a search, an officer allegedly found a bag of marijuana and a smoking device on Murray, and when the officer searched the vehicle he found a double-barrel derringer .357 hand gun in the center console.

When he asked Murray why he lied about having a gun, Murray told him it was because he was a convicted felon, the report said.
