The Athens-Clarke Police Department is investigating the murder of a 19-year-old Commerce man.
At about 10:45 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to Rolling Ridge Drive, Athens, where they found Jeremy Sean Buchanan of Cowart Road, Commerce, with a gunshot wound.
He was transported to Athens Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in connection with the case. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Athens-Clarke Police at 706-613-3337 of the Crime Stoppers Anonymous Tip Line at 706-613-3342.
Jeremy Buchanan died Sunday night from a gunshot wound. He was from Commerce.

This young man was a father, a son, a husband, a grandson, beloved friend, and An a American soldier. He was loved by everyone who knew him, As his step father im asking anyone to please come forward with any information, He will be deeply missed and was loved by all he touched.
