City council 'work session' moved to Jan. 3

The Commerce City Council will reschedule its January “work session” meeting due to the New Year’s holiday.

The work session is usually held on the first Monday of the month, which in January would be Jan. 2. But that is the holiday taken for New Year’s Day (which falls on Jan. 1), so City Hall is closed and most government offices (except emergency services) will be shut down.

The council will hold its work session Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 6 p.m. at City Hall. The meeting briefs the council on issues that will be on its regular meeting the following Monday, Jan. 9, at 6:30 p.m. in the Commerce Civic Center.
