CLERMONT - Howell "Hal" Corbin Brady, 86, died Saturday February 4, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
He was born November 25, 1925 in Jefferson, the son of the late John and Pauline Crumley Brady. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and was a retired Machinist with Milliken. He was a member of Community Baptist Church. Mr. Brady is preceded in death by a sister, Geneva Grace Dyer; and brother, Richard Jewett Brady Sr.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Wilma Nell Brady, Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Linda B. Brown and Rick Parham, Flowery Branch; sons and daughters-in-law, James C. and Lisa Brady, Gainesville, and John and Alesha Brady, Clermont; daughter-in-law, Judy White Brady; grandchildren, Vickie B. and Mark Rundbaken, Dacula, Keith and Rhonda Brady, Cleveland, Kimberly B. Chapman, Talmo, Jaret Brady, Gainesville, Maggie Barron, Gainesville, Melissa B. and Jeff Owen, Gainesville, Chris and Jennifer Brady, Dawsonville, Robin and Brooke Brady, Chestnut Mountain; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 6, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Revs. Kevin Woody, Bill Lawson, and James McNeal officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
