Replacement of concrete on Interstate 85 South in Banks County is now under way and will close the right lane during construction in April, the Department of Transportation announces.
Crews will work on I-85 South beginning at Martin Bridge Road (Exit 154). The right or outside lane will be closed as crews replace about 30 slabs of concrete. Hours of work will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during April. One lane will be closed, and the DOT warns motorists to avoid that section of road if possible.
