Commerce’s businesses will showcase a surprisingly wide variety of apparel and accessories available in town during the Commerce Downtown Development Authority’s 2012 Fall & Winter Fashion Show.
The event will be held at Spencer Park starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are $6 and are available at Jay’s Department Store, Gift Works at the Joy Shoppe, Our Town Antiques and the DDA office.
Some 20 models will show off apparel from Mary’s Fashion Corner, Jay’s Department Store, Shirley Feed & Seed, Commerce Hardware, Fit to a Tee Athletics, Sheila’s Boutique and Consignment and Curves, with accessories provided from Gift Works at the Joy Shoppe and Our Town Antiques.
Don Shubert will emcee the event.
“Tickets are selling pretty well,” advised Denise McKay, executive director of the DDA. “I hope a lot of people will come out for it. It won’t be as cold as it was last year.”
