No support for alcohol sales in Nicholson

Approximately 100 people turned out Thursday evening for a hearing in Nicholson on the proposed package sale of beer and wine in the city.

Of the nearly 100 people packed into the Nicholson Community Center, approximately 25 spoke out in opposition to the proposal. No one spoke in favor of allowing alcohol sales.

I live in Nicholson and I don't have a problem with beer and wine sales.

I did not know about this hearing or I would have been there to voice my opinion.

Same here look at pics in paper read names most of them outside town to be there or speak should have been residents of city they had no business interfering
