The director of economic development for the Jackson County Area Chamber of Commerce reported that she “feels good” about a handful of the industrial projects considering the county.
One of them, she said, is looking at the Commerce 85 Business Park.
“Unfortunately, they’re not looking at the building,” Courtney Bernardi told the Industrial Development Authority last Friday, referring to the 962,000-square foot “Rooker” building that’s been vacant since it was built five years ago. “It’s a build to suit. Most of them (current industrial prospects) are.”
