An 18-year-old Commerce woman faces two felony drug and four other charges after a Commerce police officer pulled her over last week because her license tag was loose and swaying.
The officer made the stop on U.S. 441 South at Homer Road at 10:57 p.m. When he asked Crysta M. Gerber, 100 Crossing Place, Commerce, for her driver’s license, she told him she did not have a license and had never acquired one.
The officer had also noticed a bald tire on the vehicle. He asked Gerber if she had any weapons or drugs in the vehicle, to which she replied in the affirmative, and she told the officer that a bag of marijuana could be found under the front passenger seat.
