Trampus Hoodie Howington, 36, 890 South Broad Street, faces aggravated assault, battery under the Family Violence Act and terroristic threats and acts charges after he allegedly threatened to cut and kill a Commerce woman.
Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute on South Broad Street where a 22-year-old white female said her mother and grandmother had just left in an ambulance because the grandmother had been held against a wall and struck in the arm by a half-full beer can thrown by Howington, who, she said, also threatened to “kill and cut” her.
Witnesses said Howington approached the woman with a fixed-blade knife, stabbed it into the wall next to her and told her, “I’ll kill you; I’ll cut your neck.”
Neighbors arrived, one of whom disarmed Howington, who ran down Barber Street. Police located him at a residence on Spring Street, the report concluded.
