Commerce will hold its annual Cleanup Week next week, Oct. 21-25. That’s the one week of the year when the Public Works Department will pick up and dispose of household items like bedding, appliances, clothing and other materials left at the curb.
There are some exceptions. The city will not pick up building supplies of any kind, fluorescent light bulbs, batteries, computers or other electronics, paint cans or tires.
“Please do not place any item on the curb before the dates of the cleanup,” said city clerk Sandra Haggard. “If you have questions on items, please call Commerce City Hall at 706-335-3164.”
The cleanup is restricted to residential property. It does not apply to owners of rental and commercial property.
