A Commerce man stabbed six times told police that he could not remember who stabbed him, according to a Commerce Police Department incident report.
His amnesia might be attributed to other activities that night. When police questioned the 25-year-old black male in the emergency room at Northridge Medical Center, he admitted to consuming three shots of whiskey, four beers and smoking marijuana prior to the stabbing. He did recall that the weapon was a “five or six-inch” folding knife, but was unable to say who stabbed him.
The matter was turned over to the department’s investigators.
