Commerce officials are happy about city accomplishments during 2013, and they’ve invited the public to hear about them this Thursday, Jan. 30, at 6:30 p.m. at the Commerce Cultural Center.
Mayor Clark Hill will present his second annual “state of the city” address and slide show detailing the city’s financial progress and other achievements. The city council and other city officials will also attend, and will be available to answer questions following the presentation.
Light refreshments will be offered.
“We just encourage all citizens, business owners, churches — everyone — to come hear this report on 2013,” said city clerk Sandra Haggard. “It is open to the public.”
