The Nicholson City Council members talked about projects they would like to complete during 2014 at the monthly work session on Jan. 23.
Mayor Ronnie Maxwell discussed with the council several projects to be funded with special purpose local option sales tax (SPLOST) revenue.
Maxwell asked council member Max Whitlock to oversee the project to construct a barbeque pit near the city’s amphitheater.
Maxwell asked Whitlock to get an estimate and report back to the council.
Maxwell said he would also like to get the city signs finished. Plans have been made to erect a sign on each end of the city along U.S. 441.
