The Georgia Department of Transportation has announced the following maintenance schedule for July 21-25:
Jackson County: A crew will be repairing the rutting alongside of SR 334 and SR 335. Lane closures will be required as this work occurs. Another crew will be trimming vegetation growing in the rights of way alongside SR 15/US 441. The shoulder will be closed as this work occurs. Cracks in the driving surface of SR 11 Business through Jefferson will get sealed, with lane closures taking place.
Madison County: A crew will clean and restore ditches alongside SR 174 and SR 98. A lane and the shoulder will be closed as this work occurs.
Banks County: A crew will repair the driving surface of the SR 59 Bridge over the Hudson River, a lane will be closed as this work occurs. Another crew will remove and replace damaged asphalt on SR 15, also requiring a lane closure. The shoulders alongside SR 51 and SR 63 will also be repaired, requiring lane closures.
DOT crews will work as weather permits from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
