East Jackson wrapped up its 2010 track season over the weekend, as two team members took part in the boys’ state track meet in Jefferson. Nick Fulks recorded a fifth-place finish in the discus with a throw just over 138 feet, marking a personal record at the state meet. Commerce’s Lady Tigers’ track team completed its season with a trip to the state meet this past weekend. The trip to Albany, resulted in a third-place finish for one Lady Tiger. The Commerce diamond Tigers suffered a pair of first-round blowouts last Friday as Landmark Christian end Commerce’s run in the Class A state baseball tournament.
